This is Thailand culture...

3 days of sunshine down here dries out most things. The water really made a mess of shops and homes. It's a big cleansing. The town needed it I guess. No trains, but trucks seem to be getting through.

Anyway thought I would show you some general Thailand culture - lifestyle images from down here in Trang. So you get an idea about what this type of living is like. It's just my perspective, as a foreigner in a small Thailand town.




The photograph above is bus travellers probably about to depart for Bangkok, a 12 hour trip. (Approx) - depends how fast the driver wants to go, and, you know, how he feels and stuff...

By the way, according to the Lonely Planet book, this town is known as the cleanest city in Thailand. What do I think about that?

Well, it's certainly a lot cleaner now after its super wash.






(above pic) Small birthday party I went to. This girl's mum is French, father is Thai and she speaks Thai, French, and maybe a few other languages. But only a little English. Confusing 'aint it?





Another party I went to in Trang. A while back. Teenagers. I'll talk more about this soon.
