OK...Here's my update from Trang. I read that nearby Hat Yai residents are freaking out. Hat Yai has the convenience of flooding very, very quickly. I recall being there after a few hours of solid rain... Before I knew it there was a foot of water sloshing around the streets.

It was "...a little unusual." Prepare to get wet.

Anyway, here in Trang the sun has arrived. I want you to see people's expressions when they find they can't get anywhere because there is a lake across their path.

Here's what the Thais do when it floods.


Women sees Trang turned into a lake:

...and others jump in super jacked up 4X4 vehicles and have fun.






This is the railway into town. Yeah. That's water down there. Lots of it. Looks like no trains will be coming for a while...






And this is a classic tuk tuk. This one in particular is very well looked after. They sound like a 2 stroke engine in a bathtub. The noise is, um, aggravating... Bangkok is seriously bad. (Calling all inventors...)
